A video of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger stumping for John McCain has attracted 145,267 visitors in the 2 days it has been up.
"I am Joe," another video (about you know who) from the McCain Campaign has captured the attention 300,704 YouTube visitors.
How about that other Joe (the senator ... not the plumber) and his protégé Hussein? How are they doing?

Meet a Koolaid Drinker .....
I intentionally sat in a chat room this weekend, recording (via auto-screen shots) the wrath and vitriol of Obamatrons --- those carriers of contempt for anything and anyone critical of their Messiah. The ONE .... The Saviour of the down-trodden and suppressed ....
They was a nasty, immature, high-schoolish bramble, intermingled with typical thug-taunts: "racist," "bitch," "christianist," "shut the f*** up," "baby killer," "liar," etc. Did I mention "racist"? Racist slurs and death-threat baiting were the key tactics of the day ....
Not that these Obamatrons were professional debaters or campaign surrogates. No. I've seen professional operatives. These folks were reminiscent of last-stand "rest home" resisters whose final grasp for credibility hinged on the advent of extended welfare benefits -- to be distributed by their economic Messiah. (See Obama's "spread the wealth" mantra for details.) And the five or six of them had a literal blast!
In my minds eye, I envisioned them doing "high 5's" and wheelchair sprints around bingo tables in the rec room at Last Ditch Rest Home and Retirement Village .... relishing a brief virtual respite from their depressing existence at the Roadside Trailer Park (behind the county landfill from which they scrounged refuge for a monthly yard sale to buy cheap wine and generic cigarettes) to whoop and bellow through toothless gums as they pounded cigarette-stained, chipped fingernails on crumb-crusted keyboards .... attacking opposing screennames as if they were the source of their sorry state ....
God help us. And them.
What draws these people -- any people -- to Barack Obama?
It's the silver-tongued rhetoric of an arrogant Chicago politico who mimics the hype of change and hope ..... It's the hype of shared wealth, it's the promise of things impossible, it's a pledge to bring change .... it's a vision of hope.
But for what? To what? And how?
Possibly that is the "dream" .... it is the reality -- not of how, but the reality that when we have nothing else -- we can at least hope and dream.
And therein lies the sad reality of empty words and promises, a sad indictment of those who believe in the rhetoric .... those who blindly follow the hype of change and hope without the worry of how ....
The Messiah will take care of the how ....
God help us.
The most corrupt political culture in America (Chicago) may be able bankroll its Chosen One, but his message of power-at-any-cost will never been confused with the true dream of hope and change ....

In this MTV interview, Obama says that the tax increase he proposes on people who earn $250,000 or more is "chump change, that's nothing." But wait! If it's "chump change," how is it going to fund the hundreds of billions in new spending that Obama wants?
Likewise with Obama's casual declaration that he intends to bankrupt the coal industry, which currently supplies around one-half of all energy produced in the United States.
Today Mike Carey, President of the Ohio Coal Association, issued this statement:
Regardless of the timing or method of the release of these remarks, the message from the Democratic candidate for President could not be clearer: the Obama-Biden ticket spells disaster for America's coal industry and the tens of thousands of Americans who work in it.
These undisputed, audio-taped remarks, which include comments from Senator Obama like 'I haven't been some coal booster' and 'if they want to build [coal plants], they can, but it will bankrupt them' are extraordinarily misguided.
It's evident that this campaign has been pandering in states like Ohio,Virginia, West Virginia,Indiana and Pennsylvania to attempt to generate votes from coal supporters, while keeping his true agenda hidden from the state's voters.
Senator Obama has revealed himself to be nothing more than a short-sighted, inexperienced politician willing to say anything to get a vote. But today, the nation's coal industry and those who support it have a better understanding of his true mission, to 'bankrupt' our industry, put tens of thousands out of work and cause unprecedented increases in electricity prices.
Few policy areas are more important to our economic future than energy issues. As voters head to the polls tomorrow, it is essential they remember that access to reliable, affordable, domestic energy supplies is essential to economic growth and stability.
Where will the "little people" get electricity if Obama's environmental policies destroy the coal industry? That, apparently, is of no concern to "The One." (source)

Aside from recent "surprises" about Obama's clarification of (lowering from $250,000 to $120,000) the middle class tax ceiling to his warning that he will bankrupt the coal industry while increasing the cost of utilities -- Obama still has not answered the relevant questions posed above.
This nation needs John McCain. A change we can trust AND believe it.
